trans jerking

trans jerking
i have a 2006 f150 crew cab lariat wit a 5.4 and sometimes when im driving around 40-50 mph and come to an incline the trans jerks. it like when it trying to down shift it jerks but when im accelerating through the gears there's no prob. but if i go in a hill or try to pass it jerk and spudder sometimes. Any ideas????

My truck is doing the same thing, would like to see what people are thinking or have ran into with this. To me it feels like the torque lock up is kicking in and out. Not so much slipping.

I am getting something similar also. When I am accelerating slow at 30 mpg it will rev to about 1500 rpm and then shift. If I accelerate faster there is no problem. It doesn't do it every time but it still worries me.

More than likly its a misfire..... Is your check engine light on?

The problem you have I had the same problem. It's on fords TSB. I took it to the dealer and all they did was re program it. Not program is gone.
