Did you change all 13.9 quarts, or just a pan drop?
It's normal for the shavings if this was the first pan drop... Transmission service should be done about every 30 to 35K. I posted a Ford maintenance web site awhile back (it came up again last week) that allows you to enter your mileage, driving habits, etc, and it will provide you with a recommended maintenance schedule.

I googled that website.

I changed mine at 60k miles. Where I bought the truck with 55k on the clock I hope the previous owner changed it at 30k. I had the dealership do the change so I don't know what it looked like in there.

tranny flush for 127...is that what I need? Ive heard there is a cheap way of doing where they force it out with pressure as the pour new fluid in without changing the filter or removing metal pieces. I want to make sure thats not what they'll do.

i just dropped the pan and changed filter and gasket and replaced the 5 quarts... i dont do trans flushes... just a personal preference ...
changing your trans fluid and filter is very easy.. its messy but easy... just keep your hands clean and free of debris when install the filter back on... and clean the magnet very good..and also clean and wipe the pan free of debris... do not over tighten the trans pan....new gasket was a rubber/cork type gasket... factory gasket was 10 times better being rubber with a metal insert.. i was going to use that gasket again but my girlfreind accidently bent it

While your there you could replace the pan with a mag hytech pan if the funds are available. It makes the filter change a lot more easier and it hold an addition 4 quarts. I change my filter every 30k also.
