Default Trans or belt chirp

When my truck fully downshifts under full throttle there is now a chirp right as it shifts back up. Can't tell if it the trans (very bad) or the serpentine belt. Anyone else get this? Sounds exactly like a belt squeal, but it's at the moment it shifts. 2005 rwd 5.4 with 88k on the clock. Also recently added PHP programer on level 2 for towing. Thanks

Sounds like the belt. Many people get this after getting a tuner. Most people get a gatorback belt

I still have the chirp. I replaced the belt with a Continental Elite (new branding for Gatorback) and that quieted it down for a couple of weeks. I also have a tuner and a high output alternator with a smaller pulley. I just live with the chirp now...

Ignore it. I have a blower and on every WOT shift there's a chirp. Just a herpin' and a chirpin' up in here...I also have a HO alt and gatorback.

I've been having the belt squeak for 60k+ now. Even had it after replacing the belt. 160k on my truck and no issues that would come from the belt. I like to pull people's legs and tell them it's my blow off valve, very few people try to race me to say the least. LOL

Thanks everyone, nice to know I can ignore it. At least it's not the trans, don't have 3k to drop on that since we just closed on our house yesterday.
