Default Train horn location?

So I've searched this up and the only places I've seen people put there horns and air compressor is under the truck where the spare tire should be, or in the toolbox on the back. I cannot do those two spots. 1 I live in Ohio and In the winter i drive on salt rivines they cal "roads" and there goes the spare tire idea! And I do not have a toolbox therefor I don't like them in a 6'5 foot bed because I can't fit much in it already why would I make my bed shorter? I'm thinking about on the right and left wheelwell under the hood. Anybody have any other locations?

I know it's hard to see in the pictures but mine is in between the gas tank and frame over the exhaust. It's facing towards the passenger side but if I would have had some 1/2" ply wood or starboard I could have used longer bolts and turned it towards the front. But the compressor and tank are under my toolbox easy access if I had an emergency flat.
