Quick question...

I'm considering trading in my truck for another vehicle. I have pretty new Method Wheels & Nitto Terra Grap's on. I still have my old FX4 rims with pretty worn tires.

Does it normally make sense to take off the aftermarket stuff & sell it & then trade the truck? Or would it be reasonably close to a wash considering the effort of the change & sale etc.

Any thoughts?

You'll get more for the methods and nittos when comparing the deduction they'll give for near bald tires on trade in. Methods have become very popular as of late and shouldnt have a problem selling them.

Pull all your mods off the truck, they aren't worth anything on a trade in.. You can list them for sale here on the forum in the trades and sales section...

You could also ask them how much more they would give you for the mods. Dealerships normally like selling the lifted used trucks with big tires. They still probably won't give you as much as you could get on craigslist though
