I buillt the ram for it plus its LOTS of fun.

Back on topic here, i took the ram to a scale place near my house. The truck full with trail tools, full tank of gas, spares etc is 5230. So next step will be to get it loaded on the trailer and go get the full weight.

Nothing wrong with running down the highway with the O/D Off light on. these engines won't have a complaint about spinning 2,500-3,000rpm all day. You'll feel bad about what you're doing LONG before the truck does.

I purchased a weight dist. hitch and a Tekonsha brake controller. I got the ram positioned on the trailer for best tongue weight. I plan to replace 2 of the trailer tires before i leave. Like mentioned above, the plan is to leave the OD off and cruise 50 - 55mph the whole way to Moab.
