I may be wrong, but I think 09 and up had puddle lamps and the mirrors would fit. Think it was a youtube video i saw of a guy with '13 mirrors on his 06.

I havent looked since early spring so memory is foggy. I just rememeber next gen trucm mirrors are direct bolt on to ours. Power fold and extwnd wiring wont be there. The rest should be as long as your current mirrors had them.

so would those plug in to the original harness cause I don't care about the powerfold and the power extend just as long as they look good

I think the puddle lamp had to be tapped off something. The plug in the harness wasnt there for it.

Found this searching quick before bed here. Kinda hard to find a straight forward answer on dealing with puddle lamps. Everything else is easy hook up (if not direct plug and play). I did read one comment than 07-08 had puddle lamps. But assuming pin's arent in right spots between that year and 09+, but its doable.

It came from this thread. 2nd to last comment on 3rd page.

On the newer trucks there is only one ground wire going to the mirrors and on the 04-08 trucks there were two pins that were ground wires and they were in a different spot than were the ground has to be in the tow mirrors so you have to take one of the ground wires out of its spot in the truck side of the plug and move it to the right spot so it goes to the correct spot in the mirror. Then you can take the second ground wire out of its spot in the plug which you don't need anymore and put it in the spot that goes to the feed for the puddle lamp and cut that wire a few inches from the plug and run a new wire into the door that you connect to the interior light wire and connect to the wire you cut that goes into the plug now feeding your puddle lamp. I hope this makes sense. Not as complicated as it sounds if you look at the pin configuration of the 09 and up trucks compared to the 04-08 trucks.
