Not illegal to flat tow everywhere. You can legally do it on the highways in New York.

Thanks everyone for the replies! We went a head and did it this morning! Trip was flawless! Lots of stop and go but we made it!

another 4r100 takes a dump. I put 3 including my stock one In my truck.
