Default tires in the snow

Can anyone tell me how Kelly Safari TSR or Nitto Terra Grapplers in sizes 285-295/ 70/17 do in the snow and wet weather and how the wear is on both?

Not much help with those, but I have 285/70R17 BFG TA KO on my 08 and I love them. I will never buy another tire. Where I get we get TONS of rain, over 200 inches a year and these tires have been flawless. As for snow, I have only ran them 2 winters, and I get EVERYWHERE I need to go and probably even some places I shouldn't go. Just my .02 good luck with whichever you choose though.

I'm not familiar with those but I've had two sets of Goodyear Wranglers and they have excellent wet weather traction, and decent off road as well, but the kicker for me(I'm stingy) is rotated properly they'll go close to 60k miles.
