@bastage #2119 I think they both look great.

When you had the 55s with the 20s, the pros are you can show off the suspension and also have more wheel clearance. But yeah the tires needed some tread.

On the 315s, the tread looks much more functional and at the end of the day, its your preference / happiness that matters. Good Job.

Default Cooper Zion LTZ to Goodyear Ultraterrain AT

Cooper LTZ 305/50/20s to 275/55/20 Goodyear UltraTerrain ATs

I got stuck in the snow and couldnít make it up modest uphill streets with the wide and mild side treaded Cooper Zeon LTZs. The last straw was getting towed up a street by another F150. I should fare better now. Regardless Iím happy if need be Iíll just buy chains 😎

I like the size of the tire but I do have a set of Bora 1.5 Wheel spacers on order to adjust the stance.

Does anyone know where to find the stock height/measurement of a 2005 XLT 4x4 5.4? I'm trying to measure the amount of lift on my truck. I can see the block the previous owner put on the rear but I can't tell what he did to the front. It sits level so I'm thinking there's some kind of lift or level kit on the front but I don't see anything sitting above to coil that looks like a spacer. I've never messed with suspensions until now so I could be missing something obvious. I'll try to get some photos tonight after work if it's not too dark.
Ultimately I'm trying to figure out what my max tire size could be.

One hell of a weekend but I finally got some photos today.

I'm currently on some almost bald 33x12.5 r17 and I'm wondering if I should go with 285/70 r17 or if I could squeeze some 285/75 r17 tires on?

Driver side

Passenger side

Thanks. That's what i was hoping. Think I'll be able to get some BFG 285/75 r17 to fit.

One strange thing I noticed when measuring my tires is that the sidewall says 33x12.5 r17 but the diameter only measures 30". Could tread wear really go 3" smaller? The tires are pretty worn but I'd only expect 1.5" or so.
