20" Stock Wheel help needed
Hey guys, I have an 06 4x4 with a 2.5 inch level which came with the 20 inch stock rims and was wondering what size tire I could run with these rims. I don't mind running small spacers or trimming any plastic if I have to to run them.

on the stock wheels you can do 305/55/20 or anything smaller with no rub at all.. or 295/65/20 - 35/12.50/20 with minor trimming. Have not tried a 295/60/20 yet.. that should work with no rub.

Hey guys, I've got a 4WD and not planning to level. I want to put 285/70r17 tires on it, which are around 32.7"x11.2".
Where I've gotten a little confused is around wheels...it sounds like I shouldn't have any problems with these tires on the stock wheels, but I'm curious about going aftermarket. Will the wheel guidelines for 35" from the first post keep me from having rubbing issues in my situation - 4WD, no level, 285/70r17?
Thanks!!!
For reference:
"Using aftermarket wheels you can run 35s on a 4WD if the wheels follow these guidelines:
-For an 8" wide wheel the backspacing is 5.5 inches.
-For and 8.5" wide wheel the backspacing needed is 5-6 inches.
-For an 9" wide wheel the backspacing is 4.5-5.5 inches."

I an about to order dirt king 3.5 lift spindles and the salesman said I couldn't use the stock wheels because of the back spacing. He is recommending 17x 8.5 with a 4.75 backspace with 33x12.5. Can I keep the stock wheel for now or is the new wheel a necessity?

From 31.6 to 34.4 tire?
My 08 f150 is a RWD, I've put a 2.5inch leveling kit (strut spacer added leaf spring). My stock tires say 265/70r17. So will I be able to jump to a 315/70r17 tire?
