I'm thinking the 295's might be the best option? Width wise the 275's might be better, but would they be too tall for my truck with that amount of lift?
Ended up buying a different tire. Got a good deal. Went with Amp Terrain Gripper AT's in 285/55/20. They fit fine. No rubbing even at full turn.

(Factory 275/65/18)

Just wanted to add to this reference thread with my specs. Zero trimming. Zero rubbing.

2.5" Hell Bent Steel leveling kit. (Stock rear block)
18" X 9" +20mm offset Fuel Vector wheels (5.79" backspacing)
295/70/18 Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx tires

Factory backspacing is 5.98" with a 7.5" wide wheel and +44mm offset, which would translate to a 25mm offset for a 9" wide wheel. So, my new wheels have 3/16" less backspacing than factory, and my tires stick out of the wheelwells 1 3/8" more than stock. The clearance photos were taken at the two closest points between the tire and the valance and the rear portion of the fender flare while turning the wheel.

Default Can someone please let me know if I have this straight??

I have a 2004 XLT 4WD Flareside...

I am putting on the ICON 3" Stage 2 Level/Lift Kit. (Coilovers, Rear shocks, and Upper Control Arms)

The wheels I have chosen are Fuel Vector 18X9, +1 mm offset (5.00" Backspace)

I want to run 35" X 12.5" X18" tires (probably Nitto Ridge Grapplers)...

Will I get any rub, on the UCA or in the fender?

Thoughts??

Thanks

You should be fine. Those tires fit fine on factory rims and you didn't change that much offset.

They shouldn't rub the UCA as you're pushing the tires out farther. Not sure about the fender.

I disagree with the above comment about there not being a big change in offset. Your stock wheels are 44mm and you're going to a 1mm. Seems like a big difference to me..

Stock rims are also only 7.5" wide. Going to 9" is 1.5" wider, 44mm is only 1.7". The majority of the new width should be on the outside of the tire.

Stock backspacing is 5.5" and his new wheels are 5".

M4Madness,
Your truck look badass.....I love it...

I have picked out the exact same wheels in 18x9, only I'm thinking of getting the +1mm offset (5.0" backspace)

I want to run the Nitto 35x12.5x18 Ridge Grapplers, which are a hair bigger than your Coopers....According to Cooper's website, your tires are 34.25" in diameter and 12" wide....The Nittos are 34.76" in diameter and 12.52" wide. That is .5" more in diameter and .5" wider than the Coopers you are running. Since my wheels will be .79" out further (5.0" backspace vs your 5.79") do you think I will rub the fender or UCA? Will that half inch in diameter or width make a difference? Could I get away with these slightly bigger tires on the same rim offset as yours?

I don't want to have the tires too far out. The outer sidewall of my tires would be almost exactly 1" out further than what you have done.....Is that too much in your opinion? Can you perhaps take a pic looking down the side of your truck that shows how much the tires stick out? Would it also be possible to take a pic of showing the tire to UCA clearance?

Thanks
