Run the bilsteins on the stock setting? There are several notches for height adjustment, start on the lowest and move up if you want the nose higher.

Alright so I've read through most of the posts and I'm still a little confused. Too many numbers for my little brain to compute.

I currently have Ultra Goliath wheels in 18"x10", 6" backspace, and 1" offset.

If I read everything correctly and am comprehending it correctly then 305/60/18 will fit without rubbing but 305/70/18 will not, right?

I'm looking to get M/T Baja ATZP3's.

Done a good bit of searching but can't find much on this particular size. Anyone running a 305/70R18? I could have sworn I'd seen some pics of that here but now can't find anything, seems most either go 295/70R18 then jump up to 325/65r18.

Online calculators have that equivalent being 34.8x12R18, which according to this thread would fit, but I can't see anyone running them.

Basically trying to see the biggest tire I can fit on stock 18" wheels and a 2.5" level.

Not opposed to a 295/70R18 or 325/65R18 eithr, but I just seem to remember seeing pics of a truck with 305/70's and really liking it

This is what I am trying to figure out also. I'm about to pull the trigger on a set of 305/70/18 myself but they're going on aftermarket rims so I'm a little nervous about how much I am going to have to trim to make them fit. And how bad they'll rub if bottomed out while turning.

Not too worried about needing to trim some plastic if need be, but the control arms are what I'm worried about. Might just go with the 325/65R18 since there's a lot more info on those (And much better tire selection)

Apologies for not reading 100 some pages, as im sure my question was already brought up.

However, looking to buy 17x9's or 8's for my 04 STX 4x4 stock everything. would my BF Goodrich Terrains TL's fit decent on the 17x9's or would it lower and look even more silly than I currently have? Looking to get my wheels now, and upgrade tires at winter time. I saw a recent post stating the offset was 5.5inches, im assuming this is the backspacing? What is the stock offset?

Thanks for replies, new to the site!

5.5 is the wheel back spacing.. off set is measured I mm + 0r - stock wheels are +44 off set with around 6" of back spacing. What size BFG's do you have now ?
