Wow, tons of good information on this thread. didnt read all pages but in skimming through i got alot of good info. Im still a little lost on the offset.

Im looking to get these wheels:
http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...sort=DiscountR

Now i think the 5.00 backspacing would work, but it says it has a 0.00 offset. Not sure i understand.

I plan on running 34" duratracs and getting some bilstien leveling shocks.
Do you think ill be ok running this rim?

Thanks in advance, Nate.

Those rims have the same specs as my pro comps, they stick out by 2" past fenders and with my 33" duratracs & 2" level there is no rubbing. With 34's you way have to trim a little bit of plastic which isnt a big deal. So in the short they will work fine.

Finally got my ReadyLift 1.5" blocks on my 2006 F150 2WD. I have 2.5" HBS Leveling kit on the front end and 31" BFG All Terrains. Finally got the look and stance I was looking for. Black Nerf bars go in next.

04+ 4x4 SCAB and I just put on 285/70 x 17 BFG All Terrains on my stock rims. Looks great, rides better and feels like it's really stuck to the road now. No rubbing.

Unfortunately, it really enhanced how I felt the front end and now I know my ball joints are going. They'll be done this weekend along with the sway links and assorted other bushings and my new 2.5" HBS Leveling kit. I'll get pics as soon as the kit's installed this weekend. Wish me luck!

So, anyone got experience in the difference between the Nitto Terra Grappler in 285/70/R17 versus 285/75/R17? I have a 2003 FX4 SCREW 4x4 that I will be getting leveled soon, and not sure which would be the better option? Specs from the Nitto site:

Tire Size ----- Stock# ----- Tread Depth ----- Overall Dia----- Overall Width ----- Approved Rim
LT285/70R17 E126R----- 200-830-----16.5----- 32.76----- 11.50----- 7.5-(8.5)-9.0
LT285/75R17 E121Q----- 201-030-----16.5----- 33.86----- 11.30----- 7.5-(8.0)-9.5

go with the 285 70, it will be way cheaper because thats just a odd ball size....to me anyways.

Price was $206 per tire for the 70 vs $232 for the 75. Decent difference, but it is an inch taller, too. I would pay the difference if other pros outweigh the cost increase.
