Default Tire Cupping?

Front passenger tire. Maybe 15k miles on it, all winter running. Only tire showing abnormal wear. Different lugs are worn down to different depths.

Thinking either shocks or ball joints. Any other guesses?

No way to be sure but it could be the tire pressure.. I'd guess your toe is off if the tire pressure was correct.. IE:Tie rods

I thought Toe would wear an outside edge more, not uneven? midas did say my left (drivers) tie rods were shot back in september, but I wasn't paying $600 for them to fix it.

Drivers tire doesn't have any abnormal wear either.

Tire pressure, lack of rotation, worn front end parts, bad alignment. Take your pick. Mud terrain tires are a bit more susceptible to cupping than an all terrain.

Start with replacing front end parts. Get it aligned and make sure you get a printout of alignment to make sure it was done.

Rotate them every other oil change, 6000 miles for me. I run mud terrains on mine with no problems. Got 50k+ out of last set. Key is to rotate front to back in criss cross pattern and move back straight up. This makes sure each tire goes to each corner and wears evenly.

Pressure is good, was aligned in Sept, balanced at the same time. I'll rotate them next week to stop the wear on that tire, but it's probably front end parts wearing out.

Just trying to figure if it's just shocks, or lower Ball Joint, or what exactly
