Whatever you do don't tie it so that it will flap against the bed. I made that mistake and I need a buff job now. Good luck

I have the extang trifecta and love it. What I was hauling wouldn't fit under it though. If you think that its something you'd use and would be worth your money I highly recommend it

Well yes eventually id like one but I'm leaving for the lake tomorrow! Lol I don't really have the money to spend on a legit one right now. Just looking for a sure fire tarp strapping method or a good decently priced tarp setup made for truck beds.

I used a large tarp, laid it in the bed and brought all 4 sides up to cover the contents (or at least up the sides), then covered the load with another tarp, making sure to cover the flaps of the base tarp. Cover with a cargo net to hold it down. If it balloons under the net, you might either lay a large, cutup box between the top tarp and the cargo net. Have haul household goods over 2000 miles in wet weather with the contents staying dry.

Get some large plastic bins with tight fitting lids. Shouldn't matter if they get rained on, your gear will stay dry.

X2. I use large rubbermaids for just about everything while heading up to the cabin.

This how I do it with traveling from NH to OH and back I also lay pull straps under the tarp so when its all folded up the pull straps hold everything down. Drove through a snow storm that turn to rain and every thing stayed dry. Even after sitting out all night
