Default The time has come... Selling my truck

its time for a new owner to take charge of the beast.
Im kinda sad, but I have had many good times and been able to get to many new places because of this truck.
What are the 2006 FX4 going for these days?
Lifter with the 5100s and 34 inch Toyo Open Country AT2. Super chip programmer and Air Raid CAI, magnaflow dual exhaust....
Is $19,500 reasonable? Less Than 93K miles.

Not reasonable.

Who wants to pay that kind of $ for an 8 years old truck with a whopping 93K miles? Definitely NOT me.

Not sure where you are but here in Alberta I'd say that's way too high. Although trucks are a dime a dozen here in AB.

Super Crew Cab.
KBB has it valued at $19,300 without the lift, tires, programmer, or DVD / Nav system.
Not trying to start a pissing match, but its ready to go for someone who may want to do some of those mods to a truck, but may have to trickle out the mods over time .
I just would hate to trade it in to a dealership and get bent over, then see it retailed for $20K or more.

sorry, way too much. just saying, mods don't add value. in spotless condition, around here, $12-13K would be a reasonable starting point, and be willing to come down.

You would be lucky to get 14k here in Alabama. Either way goodluck with your sale!

Same price range here.

OPs price is way over what you could get within a 1000 miles of me.

However some kid with cash might be willing if it looks good enough. I got about $2000 over typical asking for my 02 Silverado with a level, nice exhaust and aftermarket wheels. It was black and looked sharp. A young kids fell in love with it and didn't even haggle on price.

You never know.

that's very true, some people either don't know the difference, or it's their dream truck so they'll pay the extra to get it. etc.

but, assuming it's not a rare truck they've always wanted and will jump on, most mature people who know what they're talking about won't pay that for it.

also, many buyers will steer clear of modified trucks altogether, because they are suspicious the modified truck was abused.

That price isn't way off here in TN. I always go off of NADA values. It what banks use for loaning against vehicles so in my mind a trucks true worth is what a bank will loan you against it. You can obviously go from there. There are a bunch of 07 & 08 crew cabs either lariat or FX4's that are going for over 20k with that kind of mileage here. Look at it this way, with 93k it's still half the price of a new equivalent model.
