Default Tilt steering lever is none existent

I have a 05 xlt. Looks to have tilt steering but the lever is not there. How do I tell if it came equipped with tilt steering? If I do how do I put one back on?

Every model has the tile steering wheel. Does it look broken?

Mine fell off a few times, it's easy once you understand how it mounts, just have to remove the bottom plate to put back on.

Basically it's just slide onto the mount, no screws or latches. Hard to explain obviously.

I have an '05 XL. There is just a stub without a lever where most models have the lever included. I've thought about getting a lever off of a junkyard truck but I figured that once I set the steering wheel at a good height that I won't need to move it.

So, not all F150s come with the lever but the steering wheel is still adjustable underneath all the plastic panels. I don't know how hard it would be to install a lever. I gave up on that idea when I figured out I could adjust it and forget it.

How do you adjust it without the lever? All I really want to do is adjust the wheel down one position and then leave it. How do you adjust it without the lever.

Doesn't make sense. My 08 is an xl and has the lever. You sure it's not broken?

I think yours is broken. Does anyone know how to adjust it without the lever?

How do you remove the kick panel? And one other question, can I just adjust it without the lever? I want to move it down one position.

The panel under the steering wheel is just two screws towards the bottom of the panel and the top part has some clips. I don't remember if they slide out or pop out. As for adjusting it without a lever I couldn't tell you. Mine has the lever I would drop the panel (takes like 3 minutes at most) and see what's in there.
