Default new shoes.....FINALLY!!!

Ive needed new tires for over a year now but didnt want to spend the money till i bought a house, then i waited for the new year. today i went to big o tires and had them strap on a set of trail grapplers (37x12.50x20). I remember about 10 years ago when i was shopping for 44s for my f250 that the shop i went to were adamant that balance bags were better then actually balancing the tires but i sold the truck before buying tires and never got to try the bags out. well when big o said it was the way to go today, i went for it. for those that dont know, balance bags are a bags of sand they dump into each tire to balance them instead of using weights. all i can say is WOW! what a f*cking difference. its as smooth as my fiance's camery but is comfortable to sit it. and i think the truck looks good with some tread, my kumohs were basically slicks. service at big o was great, work was done in about an hour and everyone i talked to was very knowledgeable. They wanted to charge me a $12 disposal fee to trash my old tires, i told them i didnt want to pay that so they said i didnt have to, thought that was nice

i ended up paying about $2100 out the door. from my research online and going to a couple places not only is 37" an "odd size" but also, 20" wheels makes tires really jump in price. 4wheel parts was the worst tho. they had a deal on procomps they told me. buy 3 get one for free. with that deal it would have been just under $3000 out the door. i laughed at him and hung up the phone.

I just had Firestone put on some 35 at2's and they actually said that two of them they could not balance and said there was something wrong with the tires themselves. Has anyone dealt with general as a company?
