Default Throwing around the idea of fender flares

I can get a set of the factory style flares for my truck for $50 off of a friend who sold his truck and never put them on. My truck is two tone silver and I was thinking about painting them with the spray touhup paint and then clear. I really don't want to pay a ton of money for a shop to spray them. Anyone have any thoughts? Anyone attempt this before??

I PTM my stock flares.... You have to sand down the textured surface if you want a nice gloss finish

That's the twin to mine haha. I think the set my friend has is the textured so I'd have some sanding to do if I went that route. However I won't be doing that anytime soon now that I have a new issue with my lights getting dim and the truck stalling out going down the road

Tasca parts,I think mine were around $60 a piece.

You have to drill holes on the inside lip of the fender then use some nylon push rivets to secure them. They don't need the fasteners that go around the outside of the fender to hold the in place....
