Yeah I don't think there is any on the moveable pedal controls but I've never really looked as doing the trick(diamonbird) flat fixed my throttle lag, I don't care if the opening is not 100% as I don't run as hard as I use to, gas cost me way to much even driving like I'm an hour early to where I'm going!lol

I just tried it on the Taurus. I got similar, though not the exact same (other than the Command Throttle) values. I'm guessing these are normal values for the parameters it measures. Neither vehicle had any current or pending DTCs.

I have a 2004 scab that was running sluggish and slow. After reading this thread I went and spent $5 on the crc tb cleaner. After scrubbing the tb clean and performing the pedal trick, my truck is a beast. The acceleration and idling both were amazing! I am also getting an extra 2 mpg! I would have never known about these tricks nor found them if they had not been listed in the posts. Thanks a lot guys. My truck is back!

I still don't understand why these guys don't make this tread a STICKY!?
This mod has fixed so many trucks and cars that had Throttle Lags!
1. It works
2. It doesn't cost a dime
3. It takes less then 5 mins.
4. No tools required, don't even have to lift the Hood
5. Just a Key and a Foot
A. Key in the ignition.
B. Turn Key to "ON POSITION". (do not start engine)
C. After bells and chimes quit, press gas Pedal slowly to floor and release back up as
quick as you can.
D. Turn key to "OFF POSITION"
E. Do steps A-D two more times. (I really don't think you need to do it two more
times but it won't hurt a thing)

I'm going to try this out today but I ran into a problem. I loosened the bottom 2 bolts that hold the pedal to the firewall. I can't feel any nuts between the firewall and the back of the bracket so when I tighten it back down the pedal still hits. Can anyone help me on this. Sorry about the thread jacking.

Will the diamondbird mod work with a 4.6L that has a custom tuned Gryphon programmer?
