Default Throttle Actuator Control- Forced Limited Power?

Could anyone help me define what this actually means? My Truck has been throwing this code lately and acts as if it is sluggish, Local repair shop has no idea. Anyone have a guess? or has it happened to someone else?
Any help would be appreciated

My guess would be the TPS sensor (throttle position sensor). its mounted on the passenger side of the throttle body. It may be better to just change out the whole throttle body if this is the case. It's actually cheaper then buying the servo and TPS separately. Good deals can be found on eBay.

Yup, Throttle Body Position Sensor, get a new one then have the dealer reflash your computer.

Had the issue over a month ago, P2106 code. Did a lot of research, got the new TPS and a reflash per info I found. No probs since. Here's what I found:

TSB 05-14-4
07/25/05
WRENCH LIGHT ON WITH BOTH DTC P2106 AND
P2135 - VEHICLES BUILT 11/29/2004 AND PRIOR FORD:
2003-2005 Thunderbird
2005 Crown Victoria, Mustang
2004-2005 Explorer, F-150
2005 E-Series, Expedition, F-Super Duty LINCOLN:
2003-2005 LS
2005 Town Car, Navigator MERCURY:
2005 Grand Marquis
2004-2005 Mountaineer This article supersedes TSB 05-09-15 to update the Issue and Dealer Coding.
ISSUE
Some vehicles built 11/29/2004 and prior may exhibit the wrench light on with both P2106 and P2135 diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). ACTION
Replace the throttle position sensor (TPS) following the instruction sheet included in the TPS service kit. Reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) to the latest calibration using WDS release B36.11 and higher, or B37.2 and higher. This new calibration is not included in the B37 CD. Calibration files are also available at the website. CAUTION FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE TPS REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION PROCEDURE WILL RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE TPS SCREWS.

I bought the sensor on amazon for $65ish, simple install, just take off the throttle body and clean it real good then put on the new sensor. Drive to the dealer and have them reflash $90
