Third Brake Light Leaking?

I've read about the 04s and up leaking from the brake light but was it common with the 2001? I have an 01 SCrew and have just started to notice water dripping down the rear window (not really in the center). 3rd brake light problem or window problem?

Nevermind, I just took the brake light off and it can't leak through there. It has to be the rear window seal period. I assume the cheap fix is to RTV that sucker. Anyone ever take the plastic trim off? It looks like it might come apart from the inside.

I have a 06 F 150 and I had a leak coming from the 3rd brake light in jan. 08. had it fixed. well i just noticed a leak again this time much much worse. seats are water stained and much more. anyway when called Ford I was told I have the newest part installed on my truck and since out of warranty nothing they could do for me. MY truck is ruined and ford doesnt care... I am so so upset, I hate ford. Help..
