Default Third Brake light IDEAS

i am not a fan of the stock third brake light on my truck. any1 have ideas to make it look different. i think a while ago i did a search on aftermarket lights but didnt find anything

Try Niteshade? I did mine along with the tail lights. Looks 100% better!

Check out auto anything, they have some nice led ones, my favorite is the spider brand.

Did night shades on mine just taped it off. i did 2 light coats but prob shold have done 3 cause its fading just a lil now

Yes, picked it up at Home Depot. It's about $7 a can.

i like that! was it direct fit or did u need to modify it at all?

Search for my LED Brake Light Upgrade post that I did some time ago. The previous owner installed an aftermarket LED brake light that utilized conventional halogen bulbs (194s) for cargo lamps. I rewired it so that the third brake light also lights up the 194 sockets and installed 7W Cree LEDs in place. This makes for an ultra bright third brake light. I also painted the entire thing with VHT Nightshades (red) and clearcoated it with PPG clear. Of course I wetsanded between coats to make it look fantastic and polished it before installing it.
