I am looking all over the place for a cheap rear bumper for my truck. I found a new take off from a 08 F-250 SD in mint shape for $150, it is the newer style SD bumper, not the old 99-07 style. Will it fit F-150 trucks or do I need to keep looking

its hard to tell. the 97-03 F150's and 99-07 superduty bumpers WERE the same part number. but so much changed on the 04+ F150's it would very difficult to guess if its even close. I know the 08+ superduty bumpers will fit on 99-07 SD trucks and probably 97-03 150's as well.
it could very well be close enough to try. but to take a $150 chance is a decision you would have to make yourself.

Update: 08+ SD rear bumpers do not fit 04+ f-150s.

however someone responded to my cl ad looking for a bumper and I picked up a nice chrome bumper off an 05 for 80 bucks
