Temperature Sensor Location!

Default Temperature Sensor Location!

I have a new one to swap but I cannot find it for the life of me.. There is nothing online that shows the exact location and 2 autozone workers couldn't locate it! I have a 2004 4.6 liter F-150.. Helpppp!!!

alright, that makes more since, why not just delete the other threads..?

and weird, I couldn't find where the temperature sensor is either, I've always wondered

its on the center support, which connects the upper tie bar to the lower tie bar of the radiator support, pop the hood and look at the transmission cooler, look right above that.

Hey thanks fenza, but that is the outdoor temp sensor.. This sensor is the engine coolant sensor

Use the picture for reference. U don't have a coolant temp sensor per say.

2007 4.6L 2 valve.
The cylinder head temp sensor which is on the drivers side head under the intake manifold located back approximately 2 valve cover bolts, according to my ford manual, it can be reached by removing the alternator, thermostat housing and hose and accessing it from the opening.
