So Tasca must of tried to start my truck with a factor non Roush tune and gas washed the cylinder walls! The oil was full of gas. They also must have not worked on the truck for some time. The battery was stone dead. I sent it to them with a good battery and good oil. I just changed the plugs and the coils. I had no name new coils so I went with Motorcraft. As I mentioned I also changed the plugs. I am not sure if the platinum can be ruined by the flooding and poor tune. The oil had so much gas in it it was like water. I can't believe this freakin dealership. Not only did they not fix it they left it outside killed the battery and gas washed my brand new engine!

Well I added the engine ground. I did replace the plugs and the coils and the TB as directed. Motorcraft coils and the autolite plugs. I then bought a new battery and she started right up. I think it was the ground but whatever it is running. I now need to datalog and tune! My computer crashed and I lost my live link for my SCT! I need t find another download and try again. MY SCT is older. It is a X-2. I really dont want to buy a new one. I just need the old download.

I guarantee it was the ground strap. All those threads and all that frustration cured because a ground was missing. Glad you got it fixed!!

Default Glad to hear you got her going

I bet you learned a lot . Sometimes its best to stay deeply involved to avoid a bad situation . Nobody is going to be as concerned as the owner and he can tie repairs in as long as he puts some real effort in .

Your probably right. The funny thing is people kept telling me it was in the harness. I knew it wasn't I checked everything againn and again. I really wanted a new set of eyes on it. I figured somebody would pick it up. I looked and looked before I sent it away and could not find the issue. When I got it back I started from scratch and checked alll the wiring and computer etc. That's when I noticed the mark where the wire was. When I looked up on the net what was supposed to be there I was floored. It was another wire separate from the harness. I probably threw it out and planned to add another one later. I honestly dont remember!
Anyway, what I didn't say was my fuel pressure died right away when I went to start it. You guys are not going to believe my crap luck. I checked the inertia switch it was fine. I checked the fuse it was also fine. The bed is off right now so I looked at my brand new FPMU and the ground was rusty. I cleand it and it started. It would start a second time. I pulled the plug out of the new FPMU and water came out! Remember I haven't driven this at all but the bed was off and it got rained on. The new unit filled up with water! So I broke the plastic housingoff and blew it out and the truck started. I never had a fuel pressure issue so this was something it got from sitting outside at Tasca. I will say shame on Tasca for not recognizing the missing ground strap which is right next to the PCM. The FPMU was not made correctly. Doesn't that suck!
