Default Stuck in the woods - fuel issue

Hoping for some help! Camping in the woods beyond reasonable tow truck access and am stuck with a dead truck and some fuel issues.

Truck: 2008 F150 XLT 5.4 Triton

Background: Last winter, my battery died and after replacing it, the truck had a rough idle and would stall out. It turned out a critter had made a nest in the air box. I had reset the throttle position sensor by then and the truck ran fine after cleaning out the air box, but sometimes, it will start to develop a rough idle and erratic throttle response.

About a week ago, I gave it a little punch to merge into traffic and it got really erratic. It would coast with no response to the accelerator and then it would lurch forward. Eventually, it stalled out and I towed it back to my place. I hooked up an OBD scanner and got P0191 for FRP sensor.

I reset the throttle position sensor by removing negative terminal from the battery and connecting it to positive terminal for a few minutes. The truck ran fine after that.

Today, I was driving around my property in New England and dropped it into gear right after starting it and it stalled out. I’ve reset the throttle position sensor and replaced the FRP sensor and it refuses to get back to a healthy idle.

I don’t think the fuel pump module has ever been replaced. It’s been at least a year and 5000 miles since fuel filter was replaced.

I have a collection of tools, the old FRP sensor, a cheap OBD sensor and 24 hours before I need to start heading home somehow. The nearest parts store is probably 15 miles away and I don’t know if they deliver parts.

Can someone help me MacGuyer this thing back home?

I'd replace the FPDM. If you can't get a ride to a parts store
in a pinch you can bypass it with a couple short pieces of wire or paper clips stuck into the harness pins.
