I decided it was time for a new system last week. So I started gathering stuff that I had mostly. I had to buy a new sub and tweeters though.

I picked everything that I needed up at www.sonicelectronix.com they have provided really good customer service at good prices.

Installed:
1.) I used the Mtx thunderform ($425 with the sub and amp) box that I bought for my truck a few years back but the supplied amp and sub were crap. The place were the old amp was makes the box act like its ported
2.) I bought a new rockford fosgate p3s shallow mount 12" 400 watt rms @ 2 ohms with 2 voice coils($130)
3.) got an old infinity 1600a amp outta my other truck. It's pushing 600 watt rms @ 2 ohms($175)
4.) and a brand new 4 gauge kicker wiring kit($100)

Install soon:
1.) 2 sets of infinity reference speakers 6x8 ($80 a pair)
2.) a pair of infinity reference tweeters ($45)

Well it sounds amazing right now. But I got a buddy coming over tommorow that's helping me install the tweeters and door speakers , he's also gonna do all the adjusting on my amp. He said it'll sound 100x better

That'll help a lot. That's one thing I wish I could do better.

I'd like to see some pics of that when you get finished. I've been wanting to do 2 SA 12's under the back, but I need more room. I know LMI makes a 2.5" lift but I might need more then that.
