Default Switching fuel tanks...

My truck currently has a 26 gallon tank. Think I might need to change the fuel pump. New pump is $300+ CAD.

Local wrecker who I trust has a good pump from a 36 gallon tank but I don't believe the bigger pump works in the smaller tank. Long story short I can get the 36 gallon tank and the pump for around $200 cad. I like the bigger tank but what else would I need? Straps? Evap lines?

The filler neck might be needed also. I don't know the particulars, but I've read several threads on this subject and many have swapped in the big tank with relative ease.

Good question. The Fuel Pump Driver Module (FPDM) is the leading cause of fuel delivery problems with an 11th gen. truck. They're prone to corrode through. It's located above the spare tire. Drop the spare, dismount the FPDM from the frame and have a good look at it.

Putting a new module in today, but it sounds like the pump is trying to push still just sounds sick.

If the module doesn't work then it's the pump, and just want to be prepared to get everything for the swap
