Swap my 4.6 to a new 5.0
#11
Never heard of such a swap, but it would probably be the best choice for you. I have an 04 f150 4x4 xlt supercab with the 5.4 and it runs great. you can tow just about anything up to 8k and gets same mpg as 4.6. lets face it...we all dont drive trucks for the gas mileage...

Yea I test drove a few new 5.0s and ecoboosts and I just bought this f150 six months ago after getting rid of my heavily modded 02 7.3 f350. Not really wanting to get into any bigger payments on the truck so im just weighing options on which is the best option Im capable of doing all the work needed so it wouldnt be too costly to build it up a little. Coming from the powerstroke to the 4.6 probably still has me power shocked lol
