Haha. Yup. It only truly becomes a problem when you start buying what you can't afford.

I definitely can't afford the lift, but hey I guess you'll find a way and compromise on things that make you happy. I'm just looking at when I pay my truck off for that little play money haha.

When I lift my truck, obviously it's probably going to look weird with my tires not sticking out a little bit. Are wheel spacers safe to use? I'm not looking at making them stick out a ton, but enough so the truck has a nice stance. Like it does now on my pictures, maybe them sticking out a little more.

This is a hot topic on here. Personally I'll only recommend a 1.5" spacer minimum. Which may sound dumb, but the reason is that's the first thickness that comes with new studs, that don't require you to cut some off of your stock studs. As long as you get billet hub centric spacers with grade 8 hardware I don't see how you could have an issue. I ran 1.5" spacers for around 30,000 miles, never had an issue and they were put on right when I started driving my truck harder offroad, since I put 35x12.5's on at the same time. Some swear it makes stuff wear faster, or that they'll cause failures. Some have had issues, most have not. As far as more wear, it does push the tires out so it will cause some, how much I'm not sure. But it's not going to cause more wear than a low offset wheel would cause. The way I see it, they extend the hub and studs out. So as long as you buy proper equipment you don't have a chance of failure.

I would like to get a lift as soon as I can. However, it will probably be at the very least a couple months before I can maybe put money towards one. After that I'll need to have someone install it because I don't have anything or anywhere to do the job, so that'll be a good chunk of money. Since I just bought new wheels and tires I definitely don't want to get new ones so I'm hoping everything looks good and nothing gets thrown off. This is all new to me and since I've done everything else to my truck myself, I have a lot of pride in it and I want to keep it that way (even if someone else installs the lift).

I would recommend the Fabtech lift kit. They have been proven to be pretty reliable. And u can get them on Amazon straight from the warehouse for a good deal

I will have to look on amazon, I wasn't aware they had them on there. I've been busy with my girl, she has surgery Wednesday, but when I get a chance I'll look! Thank you!
