Hello all,
So I bought a used superchips cortex 1950 programmer off ebay and despite the seller stating it was not vin-locked it is and set on the performance tune. I know I can pay $100 to have the vin unlocked but will that also reset the performance tune to stock and be ready to use on my truck? I emailed superchips the other day but im still waiting for a response so I figured I would see if anyone had any experience with this situation. Thanks for any help

 

Why not open a eBay protection case and send it back and get your money back?

 

I did that but he offered to pay for the unlock fee is it would work. If not I will return it
