Dyno Tuned @ National Speed in Wilmington NC.
329 whp / 345 wtq.

theres no way that 5.4 only put 183 to the rear wheels stock. my 4.0 V6 in my ranger puts that down to the rear wheels with a tune. who ever dyno'd that didnt do something right.

Uh actually 183 horsepower at the wheels isn't too bad for a heavy *** truck on 35's. You have to think those trucks only come with 300hp at the crank. All that drivetrain and tire weight reduces your actual "wheel" horse power by a lot. But then again that's just my truck

Dude, your rangers power-to-weight ratio is FAR greater than a 5.4 stock, so you should be able to put down far better numbers. Plus, you do lose atleast 25-35% through the drivetrain from the crank to the wheels.

im turning 33" tires with a 4.0 V6. i still dont believe that you were losing almost 50 percent of your HP at the rear wheels and if you were than something was wrong with your truck.

weight means nothing on a dyno.
