Thanks, I will be sure to ask for that to be checked

I wonder if its an issue in the PCM and if replaced before any other parts would solve it. I have experienced SUA as well, but I have wide feet, and both times I was hitting the gas and brake pedals at the same time. Scared the crap out of me, but it makes me much more aware of where my right foot is now.....

Try driving a 3-pedalled Honda Accord with motocross boots on.

You know just because it's a Honda you don't have to wear you motor cross helmet and boots. Surprisingly enough Honda makes automobiles also.

My dad has been driving for 60 years and you would think he'd know the difference between the brake and the gas but that was before he drove the car through the garage door with his hunting boots on.

We have 2007 f 150 ..the sudden acceleration has happened 3 times..the dealership had it for 2 weeks and couldn't find anything wrong..1st time after failing to be able to stop using brake..I turned off the key...2nd time I hit a cement pole, 3rd time there was an accident. .Has anyone else had this problem.

There were times when the brake booster will get ice in it. This would reduce, remove braking abilities. Extreme humid to very cold would create the problem, when the ice melts the brakes work again. http://www.brakeandfrontend.com/tech...-power-assist/

The oother day the temps here went from nice and warm to very cold and snow-ice. My vehicle exterior warning system went haywire until the truck warmed up good and hot. (just a point of what happens at times in cold weather changes. Airplanes auger in because of it.

My F 150 accelerated over 20 times-- had it at Crown Ford in Fayetteville NC-- replaced electronic throttle body --no help--next visit replaced the gas pedal--no help--- last episode was in Lowe's parking lot before Christmas last year--went full acceleration twice. Decided I had to get rid of it---I had another mechanic keep it for a week also--could not find problem-- sold it on Craigslist to a youth pastor --warned him and his Dad fully of the problem --they bought it anyhow--haven't heard back from him--mine always did it in slow circumstances and was always able to control with brake and shutting it off- was always a scare but I almost became used to it--the episode at Lowes was the scariest --my wife or anyone else in the family would not drive it-- hope you have better experience
