Default sudden squeek

Rear of the truck has suddenly started to squeek over some bumps... not all
Can't get it to make the squeek when i try and bounce truck in the driveway, exhaust hangers look fine. Anything I should check out underneath?

Mine did that. Ended up being the tailgate hinges. I used spray lithium grease on them and it went away immediately. Have had to do it once or twice in the past year.

I shook the tailgate a whole bunch and haven't gotten any squeak out of it. I put some plastic in the leaf spring toward the back maybe that will help. But i'll grease up the tailgate real quick too.

My truck does the same thing and its a 2012. Figured Ford would of addressed this issue by now. My buddy had an 04 F150 with the same issue, sounds like a bird chirp from the rear. I found the problem with the left tailgate latch on my truck. I had it to the dealer once before for this while they did some warranty work and I hear it again, guess I'll take care of it myself.

I can get mine to make the sound just by moving the tailgate back and forth, that's how I found my birdie. Haha. Yea it is annoying but can't hear it when I have the radio on and windows up but sounds like crap when people outside can hear a new truck make noises, I didn't buy a Chevy lol

FOUND IT!! Got to jobsite today and the other guy told me the squeak is really loud and told me to hop on the tailgate and he would drive it down the road " working in gated community" sound was coming from passenger rear so i got down there and checked and shook the exhaust... the very back exhaust hanger had broken the welds from the pipe and was rubbing when it would go over a bump.

Now just need to get someone to weld it back on, for now it is flipped out of the way.
