subwoofer mounted inside center console?
We took in a 2003 F150 with buckets and the center console on trade the other day, and after it went through detail, I jumped in it and turned the radio on, and it sounded pretty good. The only thing I saw was the amp. Until I opened the center console and looked under the tray and saw he had a small subwoofer mounted in there. I had never heard of doing it that way. So Im just wondering if anyone has tried this with there 04-08's. Is there a place you can buy these boxes. His looked homemade, because of the upholstrey. And Im guessing it was a pretty small sub. But it was just enough bass to sound really good.
Any ideas?
Thanks guys!!!

it might be in this section or in the car audio but i had once seen where someone linked to f150online about a person who made his own box for the center console and i must say it looked professional and i would pay big money if he would do it for me. he has step by step instructions and pictures if u can find the link

After doing some more research. I'm pretty sure you're right. I don't want to completly change the look of my console, I just thought what an awesome place to hide a subwoofer. I just put junk in there anyway. This sounds like a summer project.
