Strut Replacement-which brand do you recommend?

Gentlemen,
I need to replace the front Struts in my 2004 Ford F150 XLT 4WD with 216,000 miles, as the springs on both sides have cracked. While the majority of those miles are on the highway, I do take the truck off road occasionally on the beach, the farm, and through the woods.
My question to everyone is which brand Strut do you recommend that is the best quality for the price?
I was originally looking at the Rancho Quick- Lift struts, but they're a bit pricey. A scan through Amazon and E-Bay revealed several other brand options at considerably less cost. Thoughts?
Thanks in advance.....Joe

You get what you pay for. If you want to gain an inch or two, get the quick struts.

He stated he had broken coil springs too... so, why not replace both at the same time.

I used monroe quickstruts but mine is stock no lift . The coils on f150 s are large the coil compressors from auto zone and those don't do a good job . Its down right dangerous , I got the old ones discharged/with difficultly as I would not leave a trap for someone .Most of the local stores would match online prices . I kept the old coils ,guess I will give them away some day .

Because he specifically asked for a strut recommendations and that's what I gave him? Op, if buying both at the same, rancho isn't a bad option but I have zero experience with them. Monroe full replacement isn't a bad option either if staying stock.

For the springs I used 2 sets of compressors. You can fit two spring compressors on each spring. It makes it much safer.

I went with an OE replacement. I got the Prime Choice Auto strut assembly with springs, and the rear shocks for about 210 out the door. I have had them for about a year and they have been great. These are NOT fancy suspension parts by any means, but they got my truck back to OE specs.
