05 f150 slipping out of gear with a whining sound on start up
i was driving it around when suddenly there was no power the truck began to slip out of gear it has gotten worse i have tried to change the output speed sensor and also the neutral safety switch neither were a fix the fluid is at the correct level and still looks new there is no indication of a burning smell i have tried to read obd codes i get p0720 p0722 p1000 and p2106 if i fire it up it will work momentarily then kick right back out ive tried all gears and with OD on and off no change

Maybe bad transmission pump whining and not keeping pressure

P2106 is set for limp mode or fail safe mode to prevent further damage.. that’s why you have no power.. something causing the pcm to set this.. I would suggest you have a good tranny shop look at the tranny due to the 720 and 722 DTC’s.

I've already tried replacing the output sensor
Is there a way to test the pump for pressure a few weeks back I started constincon getting problems with the truck not starting but I figured that was something to do with the steering column shifter
