I have videos where you can hear the noise but I can't figure out how to post them. Anyway. Earlier today I noticed a clicking that would rise with rpm's (sounds stupid but it was almost identical to engine knock, just in the cab) under the dash at the gas pedal. It seemed like I could feel it in the pedal but I've always had some vibration in the accelerator so that could just be in my head. Now just an hour after noticing the clicking noise, it's gone, replaced with an incredibly annoying squeak. First and second gear it's a slight "rattle" and third gear and at idle it squeaks. I wish you could hear the video but this will just have to do. Sorry
And it's an 04 SCREW Lariat 5.4 by the way and thanks ahead for any thoughts/advice

I don't know what could be wrong. My first thought is that it's really something with the transmission, but sounds like it's inside the cab.

Good idea. Don't know why I didn't think of that. The first video is the first noise I heard (clicking or knocking sound)


And that's what I have now (chirping/squeaking)
Don't really see how it's related but I threw a code for the first time today (p2004) imrc bank 1 stuck open

Its a squirrel. In the first video he's barking at you cuz he's pissed.

In the second video he's squealing cuz his tail is stuck in the linkage.

Seriously, don't know. No help.

Ha I don't have a clue either. Could it be the fan clutch? I know the sound is similar but don't know why I would hear it so much in the cab?.. I dunno I guess I just need to turn the music up
