The only thing would be to figure out steering and to make my own mounts and a fab up a few other things. Hurry up tax return!!
use the super duties steering box push rod and drag link. i would just get everything from a donor truck. and ya get the 06 + so you can use the struts. ya everything will be custom fab on this. no one makes and actual kit as far as i know. And ya ifs will take a 40in tire on the road and maybe a little off roading but when you start really flexing the front end it puts to much pressure and leverage on anything. deterroizer have aftermarket everything and it still sheared his lca.

05+ is coil over in the SD. But you should just get any 44 or 60 with manual locking hubs because if it has this much fab work welding on coil buckets is easy by comparison. And 05+ axles can be more expensive than say a 90s and they are essentially the same.

Why would you lose the better ride of coil overs? If you get a set of 05+ you have less fab work and you can use the auto hubs IMO they are a lot nicer. But that's choice. If your gonna do all this work why would you just do a d44 where you won't get any more strength. Plus they aren't terrible I saw a set online for $1500 for both only had 30 k on them. How are they the same?

Im just saying older 60s are cheaper. And a 44 can run 40s with ease. And after owning 2 f250s with auto hubs i converted one to full manual with a free wheel conversion and it never gave me any issues like the autos did. It is a personal preference but the reason my 150 is 2wd is because there is no manual hub option at all.

I just like the convenient factor of fly by wire. 4wd is just a luxury for me, I can get out of most things with 2wd and a locker. I would use the 05 just to have less fab work but that's my opinion.
