Gas Milage: TLDR: higher octane doesn't improve mpg nor does it automatically add power. Octane is a measure of resistance to ignition of the fuel. Higher octane allows higher compression. Modding for MPG is kind of pointless.

I am a firm believer in stickies. If you have good threads (try to keep em to the 04-08 though!) post em here. I am going to try to keep this updated and organized. The search sort of worked I did a little manual digging.

Fortunately things like "cam phasers" was easy to find because even though the search removed the word "cam" the only place "phasers" usually appears is in relation to cam phasers

FYI, for three letter words you can do phrase searches, i.e. search for "cam phasers" with the quotation marks. Took me a while to figure out.
