Stock Rims
Has anybody attempted the rattle paint job to their stock rims? I'm to cheap to buy new rims and tires and I would like to paint them black or a dark grey. If anybody can feed me info as to what paint and clear coat with the results, I would appreciate it.

Yea i've seen it done many times, just not much on this site yet. Just make sure to scuff up the old surface good to get all the clear off. And use a high quality paint, don't cheap out. If you really won't it good you could always throw in multiple coats with some wet sanding in between to make it nice and smooth.
