I've been lurking & would like to introduce myself/truck....pics
Hi there. Yes, I am a "chick", with a truck. I know that there are not many of us around, but I love trucks. I actually have two. My other one is a 2002 F150 4.6 4x4. I see some of the members on here are on the other forum that I frequent. 
There are so many awesome trucks on here! I know that mine is no match for quite a few. My most recent addition (that some people flat out hate) is my new FX4 decal. I wanted my truck to stand out and let every know that it IS a 'chick' truck
I still have many mod's I plan on doing to my truck, but here are some pictures and the list I have done so far:

Magna Flow (cat back) dual exhaust 16614, K&N Air Intake, Plasma Glow Fire/Ice Light Bar, Recon smoked LED 3rd brake light, Factory black nerf bars, F150 high profile bug shield, ScanGauge II, Front window tint, Carriage Works grills, Hella Carbon Fiber headlights, Du Ha Under seat storage (w/master locks), Custom FX4 Decals, 18" XD Monster series 778 wheels (5.71" backspace), Pro Comp 325/60R18 Extreme's, and 2 1/2" Leveling kit

I wouldn't remove them unless you have or have a friend in a body shop because there are holes behind the badges.
You could use Nightshades or something similar, then use a couple coats of clear to shine them up some. That would look real good.

is that the stuff that you spray on chrome to make it look a different color while still shining like chrome? If so, i agree. that would make it look even better.
