Maybe someone can answer this for me..I have a 2008 F150 FX2
factory stereo... the stereo shuts down after 5 minutes or after I open the door. Is there a way to make the stereo stay on longer without leaving the key on?

 

Welcome to the site!!! 5 minutes?? Mine stays on for 10 minutes after I turn the truck off or remove the key. Unfortunately that's the way Ford programmed the truck to save the battery. You can bypass that by re-wiring the power cable to the battery but it's not a very easy job.

 

Ok, thanks for the fast responce..going camping and wanted to keep the tunes on..guess I will have to keep the key in..lol
