Default steering knuckle abs question

on a 2004 f150 fx4 on the front axle there is a piece where the axle connects to the steering knuckle. It looks like the abs wire or speed sensor wire runs into it. What is this piece called.

Im not sure what that is but the abs is part of the wheel bearing assembly, not the axle.

I replaced both wheel bearings and the wire runs up onto the inner fenders along the brake hose.
