I have a 2004 f150 Heritage. Truck runs great< 170,000 miles.
Recently If I drive the truck to operating temp. and go into a store for a minute or two and start truck, it starts normally.
If I go into the store for an extended amount of time and go to start the truck the starter turns over great, no problems there but it cranks more than usual and motor starts so quietly you can hardley hear it. after that it runs fine.
If the truck sits overnight or for an extended period of time it starts normally. No codes, not even a soft code.
Cant figure this one out. Need help here

Ok guys Fire Fighter back again. 1998 Ford E250 5.4 L. Breaks down (misses bad) when under a load!! I have done the following: Smoke test, vacuum test, fuel pressure test , exhaust back pressure test. tested O2 sensors and replaced one.
Still missing under load! What would you look at next? Coils, plugs, plug wires, fuel injecters...etc???

I don’t know your gen motor (this is 11th gen forum), but if it uses coil on plugs; do yourself a favor and replace the boots/springs while you change plugs. Doesn’t cost that much, and labor is basically same (no additional time) if don’t at same as plugs.
