Mine didn't either only when going slow and usually turning.... I never would've thought cleaning the rotor would take care of it either, but I was glad it did..... Cause that was really annoying.

It just started recently and it bugs me. I thought it was the brakes and spent 400 to fix it and it wasn't the problem lol

Any others have any input on this?

Could this be the cause? Do you guys recommend I spray this with PB blaster, WD-40 or rub some waterproof grease on it?

Could also be hub assembly. Mine made all sorts of noises. Lift front of truck of the ground and shake the top and bottom of the tire. You're looking for a wobble.

I have a 2008 and it squeals at speeds under 10 k an hour once in a while. I have had it in several times. New brakes, new tires and still makes the same noise. I have spent about an hour with a mechanic in the *&&^%%& thing and of course it does not do it. I will keep reading these posts to see if anyone comes up with an answer.

2x4 or 4x4? I changed my rotors and I'm having a grinding noise in the front when I turn.

I'd double check and make sure your pads and calipers aren't loose

Sounds good. You don't think it's a bearing or hub issue? I torqued them down to 295 lbs. that's what it asked for.

If its a grinding noise, check your hubs like stated above. They do make all kinds of noises including squealing. 295 ft lbs of torque? What are you torquing to that? The hub assembly is held on by 4 bolts to the steering knuckle, i would never have guessed it needed torqued to that.

It's a rotor hub and bearing all in one. It slides on to the knuckle and is held on by one big nut.
