Default Spyder Projector headlights: Has anyone here used them?

Hello!

I have recently found a set of Spyder halo projector headlights/fog lights combo for sale on ebay. I've been reading online about the Spyder brand projectors and they seem to be decent headlights, minus some saying they fog over, but that can be fixed by sealing them up better. Although I was never able to find any pictures of the headlights in action on the road.
So my question to you is; Are the Spyder halo Projectors good performing headlights?

They would look amazing on my truck, but I don't want to just buy them for the looks if they aren't going to light up the road very well.

I'd appreciate if someone else that owns/uses these same type of headlights to post their input about them.

Also, here is a link to the headlights I am looking into getting. http://www.spyderauto.com/product.ph...15004-HL-G2-BK

If your gonna get them I'd suggest getting the CCFL halos vs the LED. I had a pair but they were returned shortly because i was just not happy with the performance and quality. Halos hardly worked right

Definitely get the ccfl, they were like $40 more when I bought them, but definitely worth it. Mine light up the road better than the stock ones, they are a pain in the *** to wire, and you gotta make sure the wire connections are waterproof, because water short circuited mine, so I had to rewire

Thanks for that information! So I was wondering, do these projectors also have the "flat top" look so they don't blind other drivers, and can you adjust the height of them?

I wouldn't suggest buying those I would spend that money towards retrofitting your stock headlights. As for the halos you can't even tell during the day that those ccfl halos are on so if I were you I would buy some oracle halos and a projector retrofit kit and retrofit your stock headlights.

You must be referring to the led halos they offer. Because the CCFL can be seen plain as day during the daylight.

X2 on the retrofit tho. Mini h1 kit and your stock headlights. Very easy install and can be done within a day or so.

Default Spyder Lights

I Like mine but they were hell to install in the front. Rears were plug in so very easy. Fronts require splicing. Want to change fogs but splicing may be required.

I've got the Spyder Head & Fog lights.. Lots of wiring to do for the 2 sets. As recommended, get the CCFL. I've got the LED, and they can't be seen during daylight.

Mine are the ones that are in the install video on that website? I'm pretty sure they are ccfl.
