Default Speakers???

Does anybody know what size speakers are in my 2005 Ford F150? and how many I have? I know nothing about speakes so any information will help

Depends if you've got audiophile or not.

Standard - 6x8s in each door (4 total)
Audiophile - 4" mids in the front door (6x8 opening), tweeters in front doors, 6x8s in rear doors, 8" sub under driver side rear seat (7 total)

I dont think I have audiophile. I just have a stock headunit and its single disc. nothing special

6x8 of course 6x9 dont fit.....

Another good way to find out is to go to crutchfield.com and use their vehicle identifier tool. It will find which head units/speakers your vehicle can support without modification. I can tell you that you are looking for 5x7/6x8 speakers if you want to replace the original ones without much hassle. I just ordered the Polk DB571s and the speaker cable adapters. P.S. - Find what you want on crutchfield and then order it off ebay. Saves you much $$.

Yes, are you planning on any more stereo equipment? There are better options if you plan on upgrading further.
